Check the first post...
In case you're curious about how I prepare turkey sandwiches, I use Pepperidge Farm white bread (got a bunk loaf this year with a huge V-shaped groove along the top of the loaf that made slicing into triangles nearly impossible), a liberal smearing of Miracle Whip (only time I prefer it to Hellman's), a leaf of hydroponic lettuce, and a few grinds of pepper and a few pinches of salt over the turkey itself. Cut into triangles if your bread is properly formed. |

Another good one I heard about...my Mom just made them...I can get the recipe (surely it is online too though).....
TURKEY CAKES
They are like crab cakes. My Mom made some to test with and my Dad was like "don't be using up my leftover turkey!"....after trying them he told her "use the rest of the turkey to make as many turkey cakes as possible!"

Dana and I sometimes cook a turkey just to have turkey and make a ton of different meals out of it. Turkey casserole, turkey soup (my speciality), turkey enchiladas, turkey pie, turkey fried rice.... got to love the turkey sandwiches with stuffing too. Slob's Turkey soup rules! |
