My VERY 1st post in this section. Here's my story...
I recently moved and my wife's relocation package included having a crew of people come to my house, pack our stuff, and move it.
One of my biggest concerns was moving my deck collection. I knew I had a lot but I never kept track of just how many. I made it VERY clear to them that they better not screw up ANY of my stuff. It took this old guy named Howard nearly 10 hours to pack each deck individually and box them up. Worst part is that they had to send a second truck just for the skateboard boxes. They wouldn't fit on the semi.
So once it came time to sign off on the inventory sheet my wife realized that they had estimated packing just a little over 1000 skateboards. Needless to say she just about ready to KILL ME! I think the number is way high but I don't know for sure. She knows I buy some, sell some, and collect and that I have a lot of stuff but that number was just too much for her. The cat's out of the bag and she's onto my buying. Once our new house is finished being built and I get my stuff out of storage I have a feeling that there may be a fire sale in the future.

I have been married for 14 years. Early on I told the wife that she has no say in anything skateboarding. Keep your decks. |

They packed the boxes then realized they couldnt get them out of the room! and also that the old guy packing them couldnt lift them. i lost count at over 100 at one stage - now i think ive got 40ish - i figured long ago quality over quantity - ive bought 4 decks this year and sold 6 - murf

I have been working on it.
We moved into a newly built house and I wanted to start hanging a bunch of stuff. We have 2 story high walls in our "Great Room" and I hoped to hang about 130 decks there.
Only problem it that our house has problems with it. The sheetrock was poorly hung and the seams are all fucked up. The paint was rolled on at different times and it different shades of tan. The builder is being a cock-sucker and is in no hurry to fix a damn thing. It's only been 7 months and he hasn't done a goddamn thing.
Some of the unpacking at the new place:
