Guys, I'm originally from Buffalo, NY. Like many a young man, i spent my high school years working in a pizzaria. Once I moved out of town, I bought a deep-fryer and just make my own. It's a common once-a-month practice during hockey season. Just deep-fry them for about 10 minutes (depending on how hot your fryer gets) and cover them in franks hot sauce or something comparable. Some people cut it with a bit of margerine, but I never found that to do anything but make them get soggy faster. i also sprinkle cayenne & fresh fround black pepper, but that may be getting a bit gourmet on everybody. Marzettis blue cheese dressing and carrots/celery is your "side dish". And if you want to be authentic, be sure to wash them down with canadian beer...It's the budweiser of Western New York!.....Don't ever let me catch you eating breaded wings, those belong in KFC. Hooters is good for one thing, and it aint the food! |
