Nah, I should've taken pics.

It's in a nice little town center. Very quaint, not ghetto at all.

It's off of a little side street, tucked away a little bit. The bowl is further in than the "street" section and I guess if you're in the bowl, you aren't very visible from the street. I think it's in SUCH a quiet area that if you go there after dark, no one will notice what's going on.

It's going to be REALLY nice when it's all landscaped an everything. It's sad that the pricks of the world can't appreciate it.

I just called up and talked to the Recreation department.

They hope to open the park by the end of June.

They need to hyrdoseed and get the grass to take before they can open it.

The hold up is that everytime they go to hyrdoseed there are footprints in the dirt from people jumping the fence to check out the park.

So the sooner people abide the law and stay off the property - the sooner the park will open.

It was Grindline who designed it and Breaking Ground who built it.

The Rec guy sounded like a good guy. Props to him!

Someone skated Hudson...

Here's a cheesy video posted 6/24 of someone skating the bowl.

Well, I finally got to skate Hudson today. The bowl is really nice. Much better tranny than Fitchburg. It's about 4' in one section, 6' in another section and the cradle is a good 8'. Plus there are three fun hips! The coping is really big at least 2" in diameter - probably closer to 3".

Really friendly bunch of guys skating there today. There is more graffiti - but I hardly noticed it since this time I wasn't just looking I was skating!

Here's one guy throwing a nice frontside ollie over one of the hips. I think he may have been up from R.I.

This is the only half decent shot of me (no frontside ollie from me )!

I highly recommend Hudson!

Good to see. I was just wondering about this today (passed by the exit on my way back from vacation in Maine).

I'll have to check it out soon...
