Bailed out the water after work with my bro yesterday. As good as new now. T'was the fucking grass blocking the drain.

Yep, but they were appreciative. I ain't paying for a while.
Apparently the woman who runs the Y told them to "close the park an hour early" over the phone since the bowl was full of water. This is what I was told when I showed up to bail. She offered no other intervention nor did she come down to assess the situation. And she wonders why people don't come to the park, claiming it is due to "hot weather" and the like...
This is a park that people pay the town to skate, and often come from far distances assuming it will be skateable on a perfectly sunny day...and the Y are doing nothing to maintain it. I think I need to make a call to this person.
