Interestingly enough, jerkey lasts forever. Good for on your boat or in your car in case your ass gets stranded.

I beg to differ. I recently cleaned out my car a bit and I encountered some small Slim Jims that had been kicking around back there since my trip down to New Orleans to watch Illinois get handled by LSU in the Sugar Bowl of January 2002.
While my car has been exposed to both extremes of the elements in the meantime, and plenty of other ancillary garbage, it's not like it was left outside in the sun or anything.
The Slim Jims that I found were definitely not 100% Mint Flawless. While the original shrink was still intact, they looked like blackened and dried mummy flesh. No longer the slimy tubes of pig ass and chicken beak that we all know and love.
If I were stranded indefinitely, I probably would have eaten them anyway, but I wouldn't have purchased something that looked like that at the store.

Well, I can't say in fact that I have ever been stranded and had to resort to such barbaric means....I have it-
It's the beef jerkey dried shit that cowboys eat. The hard stuff. Processed shit like Slim Jims probably has degradable ingredients thus your tasty treats turning to sticks of ass. |
