They're fun for about 10 minutes...then it's "whatever". Ok I suppose for a carver/cruzer...dunno that I'd wanna run 'em at speed...not too well thought out IMHO

They're "torsion trucks" and can be very turny. Note that they're tall, but don't use a wheel over 70mm w/o looking for wheel bite issues: they turn deep. Since the baseplates are tapped for the mounting hardware, you can't really dewedge the rear truck, so put them on something 40" or more and use them to carve, etc...

I finaly got the trucks set up on my 36" with Retro Bertz...... I was suprised how well they turned...... but yeah, they are pretty much for carving only. They have a very tight turning radius.... but the ride was a little "tippy".... I checked thier website, and I guess that the have different bushings based on the riders weight, so I definetley need to switch up to the more firmer bushings ( I'm a big fat-ass). all in all, like the trucks, now I'm going up to a bigger wheel, about 65-67 mm, and try that combo, the Bertz are great wheels, fast yet smooth and grippy, but only 60 mm.

I know a few guys who absolutely kill parking garages on Exskate (sp?) rigs. Their wheels are all super-coned (they almost don't even look like wheels anymore), so don't put your favorite vintage set on it or anything...

i have exkates for about 2 yers now, boith the 201 and the 101 and i simply love em, even for downhilling, carving-style, they are the bomb, the perfect city truck to cruize around with, not very suitable for ollies or so but ideal for boardwalking ands so, plus for me it did wonders for my surfing, so to me, and must have if you are into carving
