| Anybody here have a clue as to why none of these classics are on DVD? I e-mailed Powell and if I get a response I'll post it here. But in the meantime does anybody know anything further about this subject? |

Seems as if you are right, Powell plans to release Chin later this year on DVD and plans to follow with others. Below is my e-mail to Powell and their response.
My E-mail:
Just wondering if you guys have any plans to issue the videos on DVD. I would love to own some of the classics such as Future Primitive, The Bones Brigade Video Show, and Animal Chin. I grew up skating and watching the videos and would love to make them part of my collection. However when the last VHS bit the dust I switched exclusively to the DVD format. If so could you please provide me with a projected time frame regarding the release and if not I would love to know why?
Powell's response:
Thanks for the inquiry *****. You should expect a release of The Search for
Animal Chin at the end of summer with bonus footage included. We're releasing an audio CD to help announce and promote the release of this 1st DVD in our series of classic re-releases on DVD.
Have you seen him?
Seems as if we will get the goods sometime around the end of the summer, I guess further releases depend on the success of Chin.
