Boo hoo, Cappy! Michael moved his Blog to a place where more people read it, and more new skaters are. Sure, members have to register on Silverfish to read his Forum, but that only works to prevent spammers from posting all over the site, which is a very attractive thing for them to do, since the site is very busy. That does also work to deprive flamers from the ability to post under multiple aliases and fake names without really working at it, too. The only censorship you can complain about is that certain words like Fuck Cunt and Fag are screened by a word filter. If you can't get your thoughts across without those, then the community hasn't lost much with you!

The revolution continues without you, perhaps.

Fuck! No need to be a cunt, fag.

Try and say that without those words.

Sure, sure..ist only "words". There was stuff deleted in the past, when people started talking about some products.
Maybe to controversial, but nothing that needed to be deleted.
And even you didnt saw it, later when you did search for something, you only found some post from others "that stuff is gone".
Seriously, this it what makes your whole review section useless - shutting up and deleting even the smallest criticism, how much trust should people have in that reviews?
Might be about friendship, or some dont want to hear something like that, but this way of handling is really bad.

Also in other disscussion, whole posts are deleted and you ask yourself - what kind of talking is that here? It destroys the whole context in threads. You see something, think about it, look later and want to post something - upps there is something missing. Now, what i do now, with that?

yupp, there is no censorship ..now, keep moving on.

To be fair to EB, I kind of ripped the tool from Revolver bearings a new hole on SF. No censorship was incurred. And SF does have a lot of younger kids on ita lot more and a lot younger than here.

It kind depends on what "brand" you rip of, and who you are.
Sorry, but i think you are in a better "position" and people act different to you as a not known skateboarder would write something.

And this is what i mean, some of the deleting is not about protecting kids, it kind depends on if the moderators are in good temper or bad temper, or a personal connection.

Watching that stuff over a year, was the reason i never wanted to get involved with your community.
If the Cw stuff had not moved there, i had not lurked around there longer.

Nope. Never happened. Nice story, though. It's easy to claim wild conspiracies, and fun, too!

Posts ARE deleted from the 'fish, every day: spam, porn, flaming of members. All those violate our TOS, and if you are so tender or naive (or super-gnarly core, Fuck yeah muthafucka!!!--whatever) that you can't handle it, we have a term: "Later, bud!"

No thread has ever been deleted because somebody picked on your favorite, or least favorite, company. Every one of the threads is still there...they may be locked so you can't add to them, but you can still read them.

But this is a moot point: if you're interested in flaming people or posting smut, there are other places you can do it, and it still won't be the 'fish.
