I want to run some shirts with a discharge print, ie bleach out the shirt. Any idea where I get the inks for this or what's best to use? Anybody experiment with this at all?

Defstar, the Union discharge ink is 100% plastisol right? Do you just print the white base, flash, overprint colours and down the dryer? Or do you put 2 flashes in sequence and discharge the print there, then top colours?

I am going to add discharge printing next year, but I think I am going to use the Wilflex Pasticharge base since it's formaldhyde/ZFS free . . .

ever used the Wilflex?

what brand shirts do you use for discharge?

no I think it's waterbased and you have to add the powder to activate it

when I was researching discharge this was the only ink I could find

we print real short flash and then print our colors
it doesn't activate till it's a good way thru the drier

I don't know if it will work with process on darks as I only have a 4 color press
but we have done some 2 and 3 color things where the discharge was used as a spot color/slight underbase

we have used it on fruit and american apparel shirts only at this point...
hope that helped
