Decks I have tested personally My ratings....
Woodchuck:
Probably the best wood Ive tested
strong they are almost impossible to chip even when you slam em into walls and they use cross bands in their standard layup
I wish they had better standard concaves and shapes though
ABC: Solid boards They were the stiffest boards I found Really nice wood rides nice they had nice pop the ones i had cracked quickly though but i was landing wrong so.....
Prime: Well i tested a couple of theirs also I like their molds the best
The monster mold is a really nice concave for popsicles. They are competitively priced and easy to deal with...
I would go with any of these companies for different reasons
I have not used any others so I cant speak for them. |

Never heard of Generator but ABC has been around for a long time. Jim Gray is a cool guy but like someone else said, I think they are geared more towards bigger runs.
I have been using these guys for a few weeks the wood is solid and they offer some nice choices as far as concaves....
I am printing them myself, but they seemed fair when they gave me some quick quotes on printing |

Penns wood are the best I have used. the communication is a little slow, but the quality and craftsmanship cant be beat. |

ive been using skateboard warehouse
excellent service, great decks, lots of cool generic product and a wide range of sizes, just not too much on the selection of shapes |

Agree... I ordered some samples a while ago. The pop was perfect, no delam, strong... Perfect product. Communication is also very good. Definitely check these guys out. |

prime wood all the way. david is very easy to deal with. stuff is shipped on time. good price. my last 2 decks have been prime and i'm very happy with the quality. good medium concave, lightweight, good long lasting pop, excellent customer service. i tried dealing with another mfg back east. it was a constant struggle to get in touch. the sample boards i ordered were never the right dimensions. nice guy, but that doesn't make up for shitty customer service. go with david at prime and you won't be sorry. that's my opinion, anyway. |
