Just saw this on Juice Magazine:

CLAUS GRABKE UPDATE - Claus just sold one of his Powell decks for $4000 to a German collector! Claus and his son Fynn are going to be in the US in mid to late July skating everything they can find.

Thats right and if my informations are right then the deck has a lot of storage scuffs. Anyway, there were just 20 decks ever made and Claus had just 2 left, the sold one was one of them. Another singlepiece was sold to another german collector (Hanja), the pink exploding clock wich was used for photographing for the advertisement but never produced in that colorway, it went for about 700$, lots of scratches on it, too! Claus is now the moderator of "Titus TV" wich is a Skateboarding mag on german MTV. In the first series he showed all his promodels from his personal collection and skated the Paderborn Skatepark.

So do we know who got the Powell Claus? I know Tommy Guerrero has one, or at least, used to have one, as he wrote an article in Slap about 6 or so years ago about moving apartments and digging up odd stuff. There was a picture of the Powell Claus along with some odd letters from George Powell to Tommy. Anyone still got that issue?

caballero has one as well, a blue stain, very clean (shown in book). lance has an odd red one that i believe - or so the rumor goes - was produced in the UK by shiner under powell's direction. a companion piece to those "pig" steadhams you see with no wheel wells and poor screen registration/alignment.

$4K is a bit extreme for that deck, i think, but you do what you gotta do...

If 20 were only made, it seems like people held onto them instead of riding them. I wonder how many actually got setup and used...

You've got one? I can't afford it even at 1/2 amount, but I'd like to see a pic posted.

Id like to see pics, too.

Ive been told that the new owner of the decks name is Jesko (I dunno if I spelled it right). And if I remember right, then Titus Dittmann (The organisator of the Mnster Monster Masterships and owner of Titus Skates) has one in his collection.
