One of my biggest pet peeves is digital coloring on a hand-rendered drawing. |

Hey Modskin, Could you elaborate on that for me? What exactly bugs you about it? I`m far from defensive or anything, but my curiosities piqued, cmon and share those thoughts... |

I dunno what it is about digital coloring.. It just doesn't have that organic feel. A lot of comic books are going digital now, and I HATE the way they look. The use of shading in digital coloring just really irritates me for some reason. Gradient use for fade and shading with digital color rubs me the wrong way, probably the same way most Photoshop filters irritate me.
Gimme a good marker comp or overlay separation any day. |

Ahhh... I see where your coming from, Thanks for sharing those thoughts..
I personally love where digital colouring is taking comics, but that`s what makes horseraces i guess....
But i have to say, filters shit me, period., you could search my whole catalogue and you`ll never see one, |
