Ross' Magic Mountain starts off with grilled Texas toast covered with Ross' special hamburger meat, then is piled high with a choice of either French fries or hash browns and smothered with cheese sauce. A diner can request his or her mountain be capped with snow -- an option of chopped onion.
TGM told me about this a couple years back and a year later I ate one....to this day I crave it. |

AC forgot that there's a layer of chili above and underneath the melted cheeze.
It's the Grant St. exit as soon as you cross into Bettendorf, Iowa, off of the I-74 bridge. Go straight through a light or two off the ramp, and you can't miss it.
It must be accompanied by a Mountain Dew and a liberal helping of green Tabasco sauce.
Heaven on a platter.
