Won a set of earthboard MTX off ebay for $10.00 spent the last 6 months tring to figure out what to do with them. They are 112mm and use regular bearings, I thought I would use a longboard with big cutouts and real long trucks. The end result was a 44" Deathbox blacknight ( Thanks Ghost calvery) tracker dart 219 and 3/4 inch of riser.
Next to my Skaterbuilt for reference. Now I live about 10 minutes from Big Pocono state park ( the backside of Camelback ski area) so I have some mountain bike trails to try it out on. If I like I will have to get a custom made deck that can better support my weight (225lbs) this board has way to much flex and I feel I will break it. If I don't like the setup I have a set of 80mm krypto racecores for it so I'm covered either way. |

Mountain boards have bindings, this is still a skateboard. If I like it I might invest in a mountain board since this board is really flexable ( too flexable I think). |
