I talked to travis at mimic yesterday
He said they do 4 color process on boards, and he said they are pretty easy....
who wants to give it a try?

I would be stunned to see a 4 colour process on a deck done on any of these home made jigs. registration is the issue, other then that, if you burn a screen you can do process

you shouldn't make assumptions on peoples equipment.
Travis and mimic run a very tight professional shop with pro equipment.

As for the guys on here trying process, go for it, how else will you learn mistakes are the best teachers

Get em defstar -

I've done two color on decks.... four color wouldn't be too far behind that, just trial and error. Fuck man that's what this place is here for.

Defstar, can't remeber why I quoted that. Sure it's possible, I just think there are too many variables such as loose screens or jigs that wiggle to make process an option for most people, especially since you can't trap any of the colours and mis registration causes colour shifts. At least on t-shirts the shirt doesn't or shouldn't move so you just need to register the screen, not the substrate.

look the guys from mimic have been producing borads for quite some time for pro riders as wel las for us little guys. if he says they can print process withease, then he has elimated the variables.
this is encouragement for us to try to reach that level

I know if I need to print something in my shop that I have not printed before I do everything I can to take eliminate every variable before I start. I am sure travis and the folks at mimic have done this a well.

we are here to support each others endeavors and share what we know.

and we now know borads can be done in 4 color process, and with good results...
so keep trying guys.
