ok before you tell me to search for this topic, because i'm guessing it's been done before, i already did and didn't come up with anything.
i let some stupid drunks ride my skateboard after it rained and now my griptape is all muddy. not like chunks of earth pounded into the grip, but muddy foot prints and muddy water stains.
how do i clean it up?
i like my board to look have decent. |

not to say you shouldnt support mile high because you should but that grip gum is just an art eraser. Go to an art store and compare prices. |

Cleaning dirty griptape:
Blot dirt spots sparingly with warm water. Take an old toothbrush to scrub and loosen dirt, then take some paper towel and press it down to absorb the water and all that dirt with it. |

My method too, except I use a mix of SimpleGreen & warm water.
Works well. |

Mason - Go to Home Depot to their tool corral. Get a stick of belt-sander cleaner. $5 Canadian and the best stuff on the market. |

It's technically a belt sander cleaner.
I've found a cheaper source, so when the Grip Gums are gone, I'll be stocking this other one. |

are you really gonna clean your grip tape?
$6 buys a new sheet.
skating on it really does wonders for knocking that dirt off too by the way.
