I have been wanting to open a skate shop for about a year now but not really sure how to go about it. There is only one shop in about a 100 mile or more radius of where I live and the shop doesn't really carry much. I think if I opened a shop it would do very well in this area. In the past 4 years we have had 2 parks open and a third is about to open in about 3 months!! I would like some info on where to get boards, clothes, etc.! Different distributors that I could use. Where to obtain business loans or government grants or anything like that. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks alot,

where are you from?
skate shops make more money on soft goods than hard goods, in oregon, where i am, winter is a dead season,
sell lots of shoes and backpacks to keep the winter gremlins off your back
you need to contact distributors- watch out for other shops in your area, once they find out about you they may try to make life hell,
i ran into this problem personally |
