so, if LODT cost say $35 million to make, they are going to throw another $30 to $35 million to market it....damn!

that's SEVEN TIMES what they spent marketing the documentary Dogtown...

Can you imagine how big concrete wave's empire would be if I had $35 million dollars to spend on producing magazines and books!!! now that we're talking how about a beer division?!

homer simpson, come on down!

but still, even it it only cost $20 million to make and they throw only $10 million into marketing it, that's a shitload of money!

First question is usually "got another beer?"
Hopefully A-2 Aaron won't see this he claims that's the first words out of my mouth every time we skate.

Speaking of LODT - is there any effort to have screenings for local scene's first or is it 100% hollywood? I've seen a few folks post on here than have had some involvement with the movie but wasn't sure if they were going to try and get the skate-community involved with their marketing effort...

I think what the guy who couldn't log in was getting at is that someoone (anyone who doesn't know what they have could be worth something) sees something they've got in the movie and decide to make a quick buck.
