I did a similar upgrade to the Randals on my LandYachtz Drop Carve:
Blue Stimulators on bottom with flat washers, Yellow Hardcores on top with cup, flat, and tension washers.

I put an extra flat under the front stim to increase the turning angle (sortof like wedging).

This allows a super loose setup that is still stable and does not rattle.
