THM, her P's and I stopped at the Mars' Cheese Castle in Kenosha, WI this afternoon.
I picked up some Drunken Goat (on Z13's recommendation--thanks, it's delicious, and I got up to eat some more mid-sentence...), some regular goat, some goat with cranberry and cinnamon, some kind of Key Lime Cheese/Cranberry torte thing that THM thought we needed, and a pound of double Gloucester for my old man.
Nothing like the shiteating grin that comes with spending $40 at the cheese store...
I love Wisconsin. We need more crackers.

I want to know how the cranberry/cinnamon goat turns out. That sounds interesting. I'm glad I could be of assistance in the Drunken Goat purchase.
I tried a bizarre Vodka Swiss the other day and it tsted like shit. Oh well, live and learn. |

I bought some Fontina to mix in to rissoto last weekend - good stuff. I woke up @ 2:30 this AM and had a few slices on Stoned Wheat Thins - good that way too.
never heard of the Drunken Goat.
I do enjoy Goat cheese - most recently mixed in to hot queso dip in LV, gave it a little "wang", tasty...
Quiz - movie quote - "It tastes like there's a little 'wang' in the punch..."
First correct answer wins a prize out of my prize drawer, postage paid. |

Hollywood Knights.
Does anyone else ever not even bother cutting the cheese (haha)? Particularly with a brick of Co-Jack, I like to just eat it bite by bite. |

You sir, are correct.
Prize in the mail to TGM tomorrow - it took me 2 trips to 2 different PO's to figure out they were all closed today. THEN, I went to the bank.
Silly me. |
