I went to Chili's last night and after about 10 minutes of eating my Monterey Chicken I felt sick to my stomach to the point I thought I was going to puke. I didn't puke but I was up most of the night with stomach cramps. Today I still feel like shit and probably look like it too.
I normally don't use straws(their for kids) but last night for some reason I decided to use a straw(its getting cold, people are sick) so it had to be the food. It was the first thing I'd ate all day and I felt fine up until that point.
Can you get sick that fast if say someone didn't say wash their hands? |

You shouldn't have ordered the fecal coliform burger. |

probably not the food. It takes longer than that. Not sure if it takes 24 hours or not, but longer than you had. |

Food Poisoning can strike whitin 5-7 hours of consumption. It can also lay dormant for up to 72 hours, therefore, it may keep you guessing as to what made you sick. Unless the chicken was room temp, and raw in the middle, it is very unlikely that it was the culprit.
A real, sure-fire way to tell if you have food poisoning, instead of just some kind of stomach bug is this: Cramping along your lower back near your kidneys. Those little bastards are working triple overtime on the filtration, trying to clean those fluids. |

I agree, make sure you keep an extra pair of socks in your back pocket in case you run out of maxi-pads |

Most food piosoning comes from the person making the food, not the food. Workers need to make sure they WASH THEIR HANDS after going to the bathroom and handling raw products like meat and poultry and fish, clean their cutting boards and counters in between each use and to avoid cross-contamination, like cutting raw chicken then cuttng lettuce for salad on the same cutting board. If they don't do these things the customer is the one who will pay the price! |
