That a pic of some other dudes who lives in another country. I havnt made one yet because I dont have any tools and I'm stupid. But I suggest attempting it yourself. You will learn more and be proud of yourself if it works.

I'll email you a little something to help you out.

Theres a deck i made with my ghetto screen printer i made at home.
Its only a mini logo but its the first boards for Transistor. Its a thingy me and my friends are doin. If for some reason anyone wants a deck, I have some for $25 plus shipping, with grip. Tell me what you think of the graphic. And if anyone else has anymore info on DIY screen making for decks tell me. Thanks

That looks good. I want to tell you guys a bout some very helpful stuff. I have a good formula for all around printing.(everything!) It starts with a good screen, I use 230 mesh yellow mono fillement screen. Next I use new photo emulsion mixed well, ( simple but very effective.) I expose it in a reflective room with a blue metal halide bulb that has a lot of candle watts. Once the screen is exposed and ready to use, I use an ink from Nazdar it is what makes everything posible. The whole set up is as follows: The nazdar ink plus a thinner they also make VERY IMPORTANT TO MIX RIGHT! I messed some stuff up and got pissed but then I remixed some and man it works good! The cool thing is that when it dries you can bend it and it wont crackle or scrape off of vinyl and it adhears to clothing. The stuff has to be washed up with their screen wash but it works good too. The whole set up was pricey but not unreasonable. I hope some of you try it!
Heres all the details, ink: nazdar 2700, thinner 2732, screen wash: 2537
I got it at:midwest resource group 1800 824 2468

if it was multi-filiment, it would be designated as 10xx, 12xx, etc..... whereas mono-filiment just uses the 120, 150, 200, etc... threadcounts. hope this helps.

Well I think that the color repesents ideal mesh use. I think it goes withe then red and then yellow. Yellow being the highest strand count or the most detail. I am not sure if it is a standardized thing. Mono filliment is the only screen you can use with the ink. Multi is not ideal. I did some shirts today and they were really good. It has to be cut with a base extender for vinyl and wood but the stuff is still like plastic when dry, very cool.
