| i was thinking of buying a screen printer for screening tshirts, decks, wheels, etc. would one machine be able to screen all three? i dont know much about the machines except that there are automatic and manual ones. i pretty much know the process i think. are there machines availible for a few hundred dollars that would cover all that? are used machines reliable? is this something that would be easy to do? |

Tshirts, wheels, and boards are seperate things all together (differnet screens, differnet inks, etc.).
I can tell you about shirt presses because that's what I know. EXPENSIVE. For any kind of quality you will be paying a few thousand dollars. |

| I think you asked the right questions. I do suggest you get some basic education on what you intend to do with your printing. You will not find one machine to do all of the above. Decks if they are already laminated when you screen them need specialized screens. Wheels are printed with ink based litograph stamping presses. Shirts can be done pretty easily with a standard screen but they require special inks and dryers. You can also make shirts with heat transfers that are very simple to use but you will need a heat press. Decks can also use heat or uv graphics tranfers. I hope I have confused you. Good luck |
