Dont wanna barge in like,
but i have experimented heaps to eventually find a mix that produces well printed decks.
Just done a load for a shop, and i think the owner was happy.

first of all you need basic screen printing knowledge., knowledge of inks, thinners, vinyls and polyesters.
The ink needs to key to the board, so you have to consider the grain of the wood you are printing onto.
To print good, line the board up under the screen, make sure there is snap in the screen, so it doesnt lie on the board. Tension and screen grades depend on the print and shape of the board.
i have a quiver of screens that i use to print, some screens work better with different inks,shapes etc. but that will bore the shit out of ya.
It took me ages to find some solutions but i reckon i got it singing now.
Im planning on doing wheels next but that wont be done with screens, with a tamp printer.
The old school of screen print is cool, but the way forward is in heat transfers, they are very easy to do.

hi silverscreen,
thanks for your infos...
can you give us more precisions about the inks you use, and what is the best to be printed on. Ex: special varnish layer on all the board? should I apply a white normal ink layer on the deck before printing? Should I use a very opened mesh to put a lot of ink and be more glossy on the first layer ?
please give more info on this question!
Here is my test:
I've used several vinylic inks normally used for stickers.
