ok , so i have internet, i can get S&B which is cool.
but I cant get hotmail,lycos,microsoft.com,most search engines i cant reach either.
actaully i cant get alot of stuff. ebay,webwombat,tardblog,
photobucket is ok.
whats the story? its pissing me off.
i have tried internet explorer and netscape both.
any help appreciated. |

| how are you connected? dsl, cable, or modem. Could be a problem there because I had a similiar problem and it turned out my dsl modem was bad. |

it is dsl.
the modem is a standard modem that most people use.
do you mean a bad a modem as in my particular modem?
i can down load stuff using file sharing progs, it is just some site. Im wondering if it isnt more like connections security blah blah.
i have tried slobs suggestions but I have not rebooted my computer yet as Im downloading music from shareaza.
maybe after the changes and after rebooting it may improve.
especially with java script enabled.
everyone, keep coming with the suggestiuons |

You're kidding, right? Do what Slob suggested. While you are at it, you might want to get a good AV prog. Sounds like you are dl'ing stuff from the net and maybe not too sure of the source. That's a great way to get a virus. Protect yourself! |
