good hot, cold, or diced on toasted italian bread:
*since tomatoes are in season/cheap/ and tasty right now*
preheat oven to 350 - you'll need:
slice toms in half, remove the stem thingy
decent salt (sea, kosher, ...)
freshly ground pepper
THINLY sliced cloves (2-3) of fresh garlic
olive oil over top
fresh basil leaves
balsamic vinegar (if ya' got it)
put in ovenproof dish, cut side up - add oil/vin, sprinkle S&P, garlic & basil over tops --- roast for THREE (3) HOURS @ 350... way intense flavor, good for a couple days in the fridge.
chicks get hot after eating these, so be prepared. you have been forewarned. |

Shit yeah! I'm gonna make that just to fill up my house with the smell! Thanks for the paper, BTW. It'll come in handy. |

glad you got it - hope you guys make it up here to play --- I was in a hurry to get it in the mail; my suggestions on rooms are: Springwater (top 10 dive bars in the country), The End (on Elliston Place), 12th & Porter - let me know if I can help.
Enjoy the tomatoes Tom, watch out for Liz... |
