Is it skating though ??? Utter respect for Danny Way and the DC vid bit is amazing but it is like watching a snow board event, its got no soul ! |

it ain't no high speed slappy grind on an unwaxed curb in a high traffic shopping center parking lot.
but i have to admit some of the skating was mighty impressive..
i would rather be out performing that slappy grind than being a spectator to a high financed mega event anyday though. |

I thought it was funny that most of the pros riding this ramp kind of avoided the bowl section. It was like they didn't know what to do with it. Burnquist did a switch carve through the corner that looked pretty good even though he didn't grind it.
That drop on the big ass ramp is sick! Looks like something from snowboarding comps. Maybe that's the future of comps.  |
