Anyone see that Mega ramp they have set up at Staples Center in LA?? It's totally insane.The rollin looks like an alpine ski jump start,it then has a HUGE Gap to clear,then you come into a HUGE quarterpipe for getting the biggest air!!! It's fucking insane.I have to go check that out this weekend.It's like some Evil Kenevil shit.When I saw them building it,I thought it was for bikes,or motorcycles but I was mistaken.My girlfriend noticed it first and said "what the hell is that,a ski jump?" Since I work for a Cemetary......might be seeing a few pros this weekend.Check it out!

Just got the sports section...
"The mega-ramp,a,a progression of vert skating from a standard quarterpipe to a 60-70 foot roll-in ramp to a jump that sends the riders over a 50 to 70 foot gap and onto a another roll-in ramp leading to a 30 foot Quarterpipe."
You gotta see this thing!! It's fucking really high in the air.The grandstand for the quarterpipe is so high,I got vertigo just thinking about sitting in it.Fuck it,I'm going tomorrow to check out the practice runs.I'll be the guy in a green Harbour surfboards shirt.

Just got back from the 1-3p.m. practice session.Wow man,that was some cool shit.The jump part was cleared by most.There were some skaters getting around 20ft+ of air on the quarterpipe.Just rolling in on that would freak me out!! I bet the finals will be insane.Bucky was ripping it up today.
I've got my money on him for the finals.
