this is quick and real tasty...
mix in a small bowl with a whisk:
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2.5 teaspoons corn starch
2 teaspoons rice vinegar
2 taespoons sesame oil
set the bowl aside
start your rice (whatever kind you like, as long as it's not the long-grain stuff...if it is, start cooking it earlier!)
Heat 2 taespoons of vegetable oil in a fry-pan (med-high heat)
add you desired protien (can be 2 chicken breasts or steak, cut up into bite sized pieces, or tofu cut into cubes...they all taste good)
stir fry for 8 minutes, or until golden (chicken & tofu) or done (steak)
remove to a plate for a minute and cover
add to the fry-pan 2 cups of cut broccoli or pre-cut stir fry veggies
and 2/3 cups water, cover and cook for 4 minutes
get rid of the cover, add your protien back to the mix, add the sauce you made, and cook it for 2 more minutes, allowing the corn starch to do it's thickening thing
serve over the rice and scarf...enjoy. |

yeah, but because you're cooking it, you know what's in it! |

I kept waiting for the part about "take 1 medium-sized cat and beat briskly..."
