Does anyone have any vintage rector pads? Used but not abused. I would like knee, elbow, and the wrist gaurds. Thanks.... |

Hey check out http://www.oldschoolskates.com, they got some really, really great deals on Rector stuff. I got some riot gloves from there and they were real cheap. Hope that helps, bro...
Peace

I still have my brown leather Rector knee pads from 1978/79.. They still have dirt on them from when I almost fainted after breaking my wrist on a cheesy halfpipe we were riding in 79.. I was looking at my wrist and trying to convince myself there was nothing wrong with it. I thought about skating again and then it hit me and I went down on my knees and then asked for a ride home.. This was the end of my ramp / tranny skating until 1999.
I don't know what happened to the elbow pads or my helmet.
Outt..
Jeff. |
