No... I am not one of them. I only recently started skating again after a 14 year hiatus. I am not ready to drop in there yet.

hey button monkey, welcome aboard!!! if you ever want to get together for a session let me know. i'm down here on miami beach, and johnnie aloha is up in broward county. there's a few more south florida members floating around on this board too. me and johnnie sometimes hit the ramps out at brian picollo park, or head up to west palm beach to the Y. i've wanted to try olliewood, but i jsut never bothered to e-mail allen because my work schedule wouldn't allow me the time. now, i'm on a better schedule so it might be possible. anyway, drop me a line if you want to skate, and don't worry most of us are in the same boat as you....a long hiatus= lack of skill!! LOL

Have any of you skated at Weston Regional park? I know there is something over there but I haven't checked any of the places out--BP Park either--but I am definitely going to start hitting some of these places... trying to recapture at least SOME skill.  I am tired of being old. |
