Nah, 45 views ... those who dig it will appreciate it. Hope they have other colorways planned. |

I dig, like the wheel well colours.
We're all to blame for it being quiet! |

nope, not a fan. GP has had a good run of reissues the last 10+ years and this one misses the point, same with the natural colored rails in the 2000s, etc. It's nice if I just walked u to build a rider but not something that scratches my itch for 80s powell peralta. |

well I'm a sucker for most old Powells, especially that one. In fact, that's the first Powell I saw years before I started skating. I think it must have been around 1978 or so, I was in 1st or 2nd grade. One of the kids in my hood, his older brother had one of the early Skull and Sword decks. I remember staring at it- it just kinda sucked you in you know? Those early VCJ images really were magic. I got my first board, a white Rat Bones, around 1983, 7th grade and went straight to a wood half pipe.
But I'll admit, I was surprised to see those on the Skateone site recently. I mean it seems like they'd really slowly got the decks back to be pretty authentic to what they looked like construction wise and the details in 1985. We'll see if Powell keeps making them. |
