Just saw this post and happened to have tripped over an old pair in my attic yesterday. I've probably got two or three sets if you're interested. Gave up on those pads years ago

Latest find, somewhat different design on these old PDs, not necessarily the most functional design - still I like them

I am always looking for OLD PD pads - knee or elbow - in any color or condition, so please get in touch if you have any laying around.

I've barely used these.... may 5 or 6 times.

They were modded so you don't have to pull them on like a soc, yet seriously solid with the best velcro on the market. Just too big for me in terms of it felt like I had pillows strapped to me knees and it made me want to see if I could jump off tall buildings and land safely on the Pro Designeds LOL!!!

Still available if anyone wants.

By the way, these have velcro straps like Smiths.

I am currently taking apart my miss-matched double caps PD bought from a FB skateboard group, to make a matching pair in the months to come.

I've disassembled one pad completely and preserved all the salvageable materials and parts in order to make patterns. As Wild Bill told me before his passing, the indigo denim used in the old pads went out of stock many years ago, so I'll use vintage Levi's denim as a replacement fabric. I have most of the parts, but have to deal with the cracked caps which are not easily replaced. I talked in length to Bill about these restoration projects, but he told me I should ask for my money back in regards of the double capped pads. Still, even without his in-depth input, I will venture on restoring/rebuilding them.

As always, I am looking for more odl style Pro-Designed pads - elbow and knee - in any color and condition. Please let me know if you have some.
