after last year's disaster that shattered my wrist, I'm struggling to re-learn stuff that I considered 'easy' a while ago... 🙄
here's some stuff I filmed at my longtime local spot, the egg-shaped fullpipe :

You're out there still riding, that's all you can ask for.

Good to see those wrist guards.

It'll get easier, Dan. But splurge on yourself: get the best pads and skate gear... makes it easier to work through the levels and is far more inspiring than riding lesser stuff.

You deserve it.

That's a rad video!

Getting old and slowly bouncing back from injuries is pretty humbling. After lots of injuries over the last 30 years that i've been skating, i'm happy most days to just cruise around the park but I still get that fire lit to try and get outside my comfort level. I have to just set the bar low but some days everything falls into the place and I can push myself to progress.

Thanks, guys!

Yes, it is humbling. The psychological part is the worst of it : sometimes I get flashbacks of hospital scenes right in the middle of a run... 🙄

@slob : I see what you mean, but there's reasons for old and not-so-fancy gear... sometimes it's just because I'm too lazy to set up a new deck.
