Has anyone used a particular type of concrete paver for a suitable flat ground spot? If so, which type and what was your experience?

i used cobblestones*.

it makes for a really shitty reentry from the transitions, but the trade off is a great vibrating massage across the flat. your calves will thank you for it.

*this may or may not be factually accurate. please seek professional engineering advice before embarking on cobblestone based skateboarding constructions.
