Does anybody have a definitive, 100 fucking %, clear as hell, from a reliable source, no bullshit, answer about the Santa Cruz 30 Year reissues being screened or heat transfers? I always thought they were all heat transfers.
A real answer from NHS and not some speculative shit would be dreamy.
🤣🤣😂
I miss this place. Couldn’t collect for the longest time and life has kicked my balls in the past few years. I kind of hate Facebook collecting groups.
I guess I’m a boomer boner 🤣😂
Thanks for any info folks and it feels good to post here again in the longest time. Hope you’re all well! |

They still have their print shop going every day all day long. But I'm sure there are a couple decks with transfers. |

NHS responded. Some were screened, some were transferred.
I’d say 80-90% of their decks now are transferred. |

My Grabke looks screened, Kendall looks transferred. The Grabke has white bits underneath the background that aren't perfectly aligned with the next layer, my OG has the same. |

I'm going to guess most the screened decks now, are screened transfers. Yes, it's a thing. |

It is. A thing.
I'd say they are screening the top dollar boards and heat transferring the cheapos. The screened transfers somewhere in between.
Heat transfers are a pain in the ass, I'm surprised they are still using them.
There's also a difference in heat transfers, there's high quality and low quality, thick as fuck and micro thin.
Screening popsicles is difficult, screening transfers is easy... especially when you're using more than 4 colors.
