I've got a bunch of old trucks that are just collecting dust. Are any companies making reissues with the old school bolt pattern? I remember the first round of Vision reissues had the old pattern. Are they all being made with the new pattern now?

I stopped by the skate shop yesterday to my surprise they had a Cab Dragon & Bats reissue. I bought it and rushed home to set it up with my old Indys.....It has the new school truck pattern.

So... I was totally wrong. I'm not sure how I missed this but the Dragon & Bats reissue IS drilled for old school trucks. I went with the OJ III 78a 60mm wheels so the 169's were a little too big. Luckily I had a set of 159's in my stash. Bronson Bearings, 1/4 Vision Psycho risers and Pig rails makes this BAD ASS for cruising around the block with my 12 year old! Thanks obi!

A simple drill will fix all your troublems.

Nope. That's not for me. I tried that once and stress cracks connected the holes. The holes are too close together for someone that likes to eat sandwiches. Finding the right deck fixed my troublems.

Dry wall spackle in the old holes is enough to prevent the splitting. If you want to get fancy you can use dowels.
