I'm planning on buying my first ever skateboard tomorrow and I was wondering if I should buy a complete skateboard or make my own? Do you have any tips or things to look out for when buying your first skateboard?

Depends on your terrain.

Vert ramp.
Bowl/pool.
Street.
Freestyle.
Downhill.
Cruiser.
Etc etc......

Lots to consider......truck width, wheel size and duro, bushing compatibility, deck width an length, risers?.... and type of griptape .

What do you wanna skate?......there are so many options.

🤓👍✌🏻

Just don't buy a cheap Penny board...or something at WalMart.

If you have a local skate shop go there and help the local business. They will hook you up with something decent.

It's cheaper to buy a complete but I would recommend checking out your local skate shop. Stores owned and run by real skaters will help you the best. Hope it helps!
