Thanks, it was good!
Got out and skated again (been taking it easy, due to a dinged up knee), grilled a bit, than binged on Abandoned with Rick McCrank. It was a good day. |

Hit the local pump track for the first time on the 4th.
Pretty fun but it definitely kicked my ass. Legs were jelly by the end.

Weird, I spent my fourth skating (the park was empty), then went home and watched Abandoned as well. I've never really payed attention to Rick before abandoned, but he seems to be a really well spoken dude, and it's rad how he meets up with local skaters throughout the series. |

Oh totally, the park here was dead as well! (AND Not a bunch of firework trash on either morning- win!).
I think Nine Club got me turned on to Rick. He seems like a likable dude. That New Orleans episode, where he was wearing a rolled up long-sleeve shirt, soaked! So funny... Or when he drove that race car!
Loved it.
(Vice series, it's on Hulu if you're wondering what the hell we're talking about) |

I love Abandoned. I wish they'd do another season.
I stayed in most of the fourth. Bought some food and cooked at home. Indulged on whiskey and wine. Listened to people blow shit up. Did'n't like that they did it until 4 in the morning though. |
