I have an original Neil Blender deck that was never gripped.
What it does have, is some paint that is covering up some band
signatures on the bottom white areas of the deck. This was painted before I got it years ago, and not sure who or how many signed the deck. The paint does match the vintage white, and does not cover any of the original Blender art. The top of the deck is untouched, and is perfectly original white. I am considering selling this, but not sure what the value is, since I have never seen an ungripped/skated NB deck this rare for sale. With the deck hanging on my wall, I never really notice the paint unless I hold it upclose for inspecting.
I have seen gripped decks like this with worn tails for 1200-1500.
thanks

How do you know nothing else was touched up? You can't even tell that it was painted in those pics.

Be great to see some pictures showing the touch ups, plus the top. Hard to put a value on it weighing up the amazing condition versus the unknown of the extent of painting...but its a rare bird in this condition for sure.

I will take some close up photos of the deck outside.
You can clearly tell where the off white paint starts.
The pain is a little "flat" where as the original white has
a little gloss to it. The graphics on the bottom were not
touched up one bit. You can notice where the signature in
the yellow area was tried to be removed, and lightened up
the yellow a bit, but not much.

thanks!
