I was on this forum last in 2006 asking a bunch of questions and then went and had kids and, well... infants take up a lot of time. About this time last year, I got back at it and took a crack at printing some decks. This was my first. I had no press, just a really big screen. I put some blocks of wood around the deck on the floor, laid the frame on the blocks, keeled on it to hold it still and pulled the ink through. It actually worked, once. The second deck looked like ass so I stopped. I colored the eyes in with a sharpie.
Pre-skated deck.
I skated this for a little while. I really just wanted to see how durable the ink/clearcoat combo I used was. Seemed legit. |
