the atom-man-mash-up is looking good, but I think I've never been further from considering to buy a new SC rider…

Yup I agree!
I remember when a complete Santa Druz deck with Indy stage5 Oj2 teamrider 92a and a 1989-1990 deck was a fucking professional equipment ride.
Fast as hell and felt like some Olympic race gear!
Now we have Chinese toy, Santa Cruz. |

Is there even a market/demand for Mars Attacks skateboards. The Star Wars ones along with the Simpsons were on sale and clearance everywhere and that was a licence that had a following.
I respect SC and appreciate that you have to do shit that brings in the money so as you can continue the brand and doing more roots stuff. but honestly this is proper shite, no one cares about a surprise blind bag deal on these just like the Garbage pail kids mess. |

I'm not into it, but I wasn't into the Garbage Pail Kids ones (or Star Wars) ones either.
I'm sure someone is stoked... |

I think some of the artwork is sick but yeah, a few decades too late for the movie tie in. Plus the classics tribute art but done on pops, not shapes? IDK, all in all makes ya long for the days of “Preissues.” I do like the mars grip. |

I would imagine this was a combo deal done off the back of the Garbage Pail Kids decks with Topps.
Take the GPK ones and you must do the Mars Attacks ones, as no one in their right mind would think in 2018 that this was a good idea.
Wonder whats next for these guys oh wait heres comes another one into the pan form the Mighty Santa Cruz ....Cowadunga |

This heat transfer "print your own art" reissue era is unpleasant to witness. |
