Hello Community, I would like to present this deck to you guys. The only source I can imagine for this deck would be 1st Gear Skate Shop, when it was located on 16th street in Cicero, IL.

here it is:

If you guys need me to take off the trucks and validate something let me know. Im not trying to ask for a Value straight off, its pretty beat up but not bad i think, let me know what you guys think. Small tail damage shots at bottom.

Boneite beater. Later than 1983 I think. Maybe a Powell guy will chime in. Not a bunch of value, pretty roached. Red Ultralights are alright. What wheels are on it? Somebody might give you $150. I wouldn't personally.

It's from 87 - Nice earlier top dragon logo, but it's pretty beat.

$50 tops just the deck IMO
Sorry, don't know much about trucks and wheels to give an estimate on them.

thanks so much for the information, was wondering if it would be worth it to match it with some old parts from the same era/time.

Now that i know the year (thanks a lot!) i was thinking of maybe building out an old complete board. the parts on it now are all late 90's stuff i think even the trucks, i would want stuff that matched the year. does anyone know where i could go to get some parts that would match this deck?

The trucks that are on it already (Tracker ultra lights) are pretty much the right era for that deck. The wheels are not.
Get some used T-Bones and some Powell plastics and it will start coming together nicely.

When you finish building this one, be prepared to build many more.
Its addictive.

That color is very rare for a Hawk. Its mostly a McGill color. I think two very small runs of the cobalt blue hawks were made in 1983 and 1987 (yours).

Yours is in rough shape but its a rare color. Go look at some large collections of Hawks. Almost nobody has a cobalt blue in their collection...
