hi. found these old skateboard decks while cleaning out my great uncle's house. trying to find out more about them and their possible value. the first has "sims pure juice" and the other 2 "sun dancer" with dolphins. i really don't know anything about skateboards. after searching online i found a couple of the sims board on ebay that look like the 1 i have for like $500-600. couldn't find anything on the sun dancer boards. does anyone know anything about all these or their possible value? they're in excellent condition and obviously never used. would also like to know where would be the best place to sell them. online? or should i see if a local skateboard shop would be interested? thanks.[/img]

They are what they are. Mid '70s skateboards. $100 each at most. The Sims is more valuable than the Sun Dancers so $75 for those.

You may find someone who had one of those back in the day and is willing to pay more or someone that has all the other sizes of the pure juice boards that need that one to complete their collection—those scenarios may get you more but....

Yup, out of their minds. Never gonna sell at those prices.
Seems like 200 to 300 hundred for some old planks cleaning out a house is pretty good.

Just because somebody posts up a board at a crazy high price, doesn't mean that's what it's worth. They haven't sold at that price!

There was a Sun Dancer surf/skate shop in Ocean City, MD in the 70's-80's.

Then again, there where probably stores with that name up and down both coasts for all I know.

Just throwing it out there.
