The thread has multiple photofucket broken images so here are some of the better ones:

Hey Scotty that's my old red driveway and the ride that got me back into skating.

here's some weird stuff I skated over the years…

concrete pipes in Germany, ca.2006…rotten and too small anyway…

DIY "skatepark" somewhere in France, tried to skate this in 2005 - apparently built in the late 80s.

here's the 'funbox'… funny, indeed :

and here's something that skated well… but getting in and out was a pain in the ass. needed 2 buddies to help me out again. the metal dust inside whirled through the pipe after each run, so I tried to hold my breath and took some fresh air between each run. South Germany, 2007. pic by 'Flow' a.k.a. Dr Skaterock

I remember I had an interesting discussion on this topic with a buddy from Belgium as well. We agreed on how shitty stuff to skate makes it - sometimes - even more interesting. And he told me about this skatepark in Belgium he opposed to, as it was a disaster on the plans already and he argued with the city council - without success however. After that thing got built, he checked it out anyway and one shitty quarterpipe turned out to be quite fun since the wrecked part of it made it difficult, yet fun to skate. Only problem - he knew he'd never be able to explain that if he had been 'caught' skating it by one of the local politicians…
