| I have actually been very surprised at how many decks people have asked were mine and they were not. All those decks I made at the time were for people I knew. I did see that a silver gonz showed up on eBay but I'm positive it was disclosed as a reproduction. im not sure if you guys know this but I was commissioned by people to do these tribute decks. The GnR and CMF were a result from Shannon. I made a few for him and then did a hand full for my friends. The Shannon situation is very regrettable. I was warned by a friend about him in the beginning but the guy goes by so many names that I didn't even realize I was dealing with Shannon. Either way there is a long story about how he tricked me into not marking those decks. |

| Thanks for the warm welcome and no need for apologies I'm not holding any grudges or anything lol. Great news my metal stamp should be here in a couple of weeks. It's going to say CatPalace restoration with my signature under it. My hope is that my restoration work will be recognized as a form of art and that my stamp will be sought after. My opinion is that what I'm doing is an art form from start to finish. I put a lot of thought and work into restoring these decks so why wouldn't you want my signature? I really can't see a reason to not want my signature of authenticity on the deck. I'm sure that as my work and popularity grows the stamp will become a coveted part of the restoration at least that's my hope. That way all the people I've done restorations for before the stamp will be more then will to send them back to me to be stamped. Again that's my hope, so far the clients I've told were super stoked on the idea. |
