I used to buy and sell way more than I do now and I always told myself I should write down the average shipping weights of typical skateboard stuff: wheels, trucks, decks.

Well I never wrote that shit down and now that I am selling a few things I need to generate some shipping quotes. So does anyone have an opinion on the boxed weight of a set of wheels, a set of trucks, and a typical deck?

My deck estimation is around 6 lbs or 2.75 KG

Seems like something Herwig should have in a spreadsheet...

Just weighed some things:
Road Rider 6 wheels with bearings: 1lb 8oz
Santa Cruz speed wheels w/o bearings: 1lb 5oz
60mm Speed Wheels with bearings: 1lb 2oz
Tracker Haftracks: 1lb 5oz
Full size stage 3 Indys: 1lb 13oz
Santa Cruz Deck: 3lbs

Add about 1/2lb - 1lb for packaging...

Hope that helps.

Yes, packaging for decks and completes can be a bit heavier . For wheels and trucks, with bubble packaging, it's less weight.
