My Uncle told me that the FibreFlex TeamRider that my Dad got when he was a kid in the 70's was worth a lot of money. Is he full of shit, or is this a valuable antique?
Thanks |

You are showing a tremendous lot of respect for your dad, son!
Tough childhood?
This is your place if in need to unburden yourself! |

I never expected a skateboard forum to be a good place for therapy, but there's me stereotyping again. He's the one who wants to sell it, he never rode it. |

Yes, a Fibreflex Teamrider in excellent shape could be worth some cash. Part of it depends on the color of the top & bottom skins and of course, the condition.
Got pics?
Here's one from my collection:

My bad, I thought I had posted it under the board appraisal section.
Thanks for the reply. I'm afraid mine isn't quite as nice as yours.

The trucks & maybe the wheels (can't tell what they are) definitely have some value, but the board is pretty toasted & not worth much in that condition.
PM'd you on the trucks & wheels.......

You can get the deck restored. There's a guy in the UK that does amazing Fibreflex restorations, they look as good as new. |

You're only 2 1/2 months too late, Tony B.
