So.....I was going to post this in the "new wood thread"and "got Powell" thread, but thought this deck needed its own thread.
I have been in contact with the seller since last April and never really thought the transaction would transpire. Through a lot of patience and communication, I was able to land this unicorn!
This is what Sean Cliver said to me yesterday about this model...
There were at least but no more than 7 printed. One on each stain color for the time. At present, I'm only aware of the whereabouts on the red and blue stains. All others are missing and I didn't see any in the powell archives (though one may still be hidden there).

So with only 2 known, is it the rarest Hawk? Maybe?
This is what makes this hobby so much fun. To known these type of decks are still attainable. |
